Khalid al-Falih, chief executive of Saudi Aramco has said new refineries would push the company’s daily refining capacity by 50% from its current level to more than 6 million barrels per day, Reuters has reported. The company is building two refineries in Saudi Arabia with four more being considered in Jaizan in the kingdom, as well as projects in China, Vietnam and Indonesia, he said.
